Hi JonD; Sorry to hear about your accident. It sounds like you have given yourself all the discipline and reproof that you need, just follow it and there is no reason why you cannot continue to enjoy motorcycling safely. I bounced my head off the tarmac last year on a sandy curve and like you,I was glad I had a helmet on. You're right, try to fix it up, what can you lose? It's already broken. Frank M
